Jamie Dupuis, a local internationally recognized Canadian guitarist, composer and producer will be performing at the Cafe Meteor Bistro on March 1 starting at 9pm. Jamie will be presenting a new show with more harp guitar and more vocals.
Jamie Dupuis is best known for his complex finger style technique, energetic performances, and his arrangements on the guitar and harp guitar. His presence on the web is astonishing with 163,000 Facebook followers, 165,000 You Tube subscribers and 17000 Instagram followers. In 2016, Jamie’s arrangement of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd on the harp guitar has gotten over 24 million Facebook views.
In 2016, we won 1st place at the Canadian Guitar Festival Competition, one of the finest guitar competitions in the world. Recently, he gave a special performance at the 2018 Festival des Guitares du Monde in Rouyn-Noranda.
Jamie Dupuis Influences
Jamie’s style is influenced by great artists such as Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Stevie Wonder, and Django Reinhart. When listening to Jamie you will hear many styles ranging from Classical to Jazz, Blues, Country, Rock, Folk and Pop.
