The show of crooner Yoland Sirard will bring back great American and French classics from Frank Sinatra to Charles Aznavour, Elvis Presley and Tom Jones.
At Cafe Meteor Bistro for 2 nights, May 17 and 18 from 9pm. Admission $ 10 (for members of the Meteor cooperative) and $ 15 (for non-members).
Yoland Sirard is a very versatile singer who has been part of the Crooners group that has performed at the Casino de Montréal and in several major Quebec tours. He has also sung in multiple shows at the Atlantic City casinos. Yoland hails from Ville-Marie in the Témiscamingue region and then moved to Montreal to pursue his career. Early in his career he regularly appeared on popular TV shows. From 1991 to 96, he was singer-dancer-comedian in the musical ‘les fous du rock’n’roll‘. He sang the national anthems for the Montreal Expos at the Olympic Stadium in 1997. From 2004 to 2013 he was part of the group ‘Best of Broadway‘, touring Quebec and the United States. In 2014, he participated in the Piano Men show presented on the Videotron stage in Montreal. He was also part of a ‘Tom Jones Tribute‘, the ‘Moonshine Follies’ show and the ‘Holiday Extravaganza‘ Christmas show.
